Quick start
- Move the aircraft with the directional control.
- Fire at approaching enemies and avoid their attacks.
- Use a Time Bomb when you need to alter enemy movement; the supply is limited.
- Rescue soldiers and deliver them to the rescue aircraft for bonus points.
Controls
Directional control: move. Fire: normal attack. Time Bomb: limited-use action that stops time and rewinds enemy movement. These are the original game’s two action functions, without assigning generic emulator button numbers.
Chouji Meikyuu Legion (Japan ver 1.05, bootleg set 1) — About this game
Legion is a vertically scrolling shooter built around a weapon that interferes with time. Pilot the Legion aircraft against the Dark Empire, fire on approaching enemies and use the Time Bomb to stop and rewind their movement. This changes how you escape pressure: the second action alters the situation rather than simply functioning as an ordinary explosive attack. Rescuing soldiers also offers a scoring opportunity when you transfer them to a rescue aircraft. The Japanese release is titled Chouji Meikyuu Legion.
