How to Play Magical Drop III Tournament Edition

Quick start

Start a competitive match; the single-player modes are removed.
Let the losing player choose the next character under this edition’s selection rule.
Expect a mirror match.
Build vertical groups of at least three matching drops and keep the stack from reaching the bottom.

Controls

On the character screen, D requests random selection. To choose Black Pierrot, highlight Empress and use C with the selection input. Hidden characters are enabled. During the puzzle, move beneath a column, collect matching drops and throw them upward to form a vertical group of at least three.

Magical Drop III Tournament Edition — About this game

Magical Drop III Tournament Edition concentrates the falling-drop puzzle on competitive matches. Its selection rules force a mirror match and let the loser choose the character, while the single-player modes are removed. Hidden characters are unlocked, a random pick is available with D, and the normally unavailable Black Pierrot can be selected from Empress with C. The modification also restores character-specific music to versus play instead of using one common versus theme.
