Quick start
- Move the hunter through the opening area.
- Shoot a creature ahead.
- Collect an accessible weapon supply.
- Use Super when enemies approach from several sides and energy is available.
Controls
Move with the eight-way joystick. Shoot fires ahead. Super spends energy to turn the hunter through a full circle while firing a short burst. This is the Japanese game’s spinning attack; it does not use the separate Beam action described for The Real Ghostbusters.

Meikyuu Hunter G (Japan, bootleg) is an exact registered version in this game family. Meikyuu Hunter G sends its hunters through a maze of creatures with a normal gun and an energy-powered spinning attack. The latter sweeps shots around the character instead of serving as the ghost-capturing beam used in The Real Ghostbusters. The Japanese game has eight stages with different layouts and a reduced weapon set, and supports two hunters together. Choosing an open position for a spin is useful when the approaching enemies can no longer be handled along a single firing line. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
