How to Play Pang (bootleg, set 5)

Quick start

  1. Watch where the balls will land and move where you can escape to either side.
  2. Fire a wire into a ball’s path.
  3. Clear smaller balls one by one so they do not build up.
  4. Check incoming ball paths before climbing a ladder or moving onto a platform.

Controls

Move left and right with the joystick and use up and down on ladders. Use the wire control to fire straight upward; both the tip and the extended wire hit balls. These five sets share the Pang control interface. Check your settings for the actual bindings.

Pang (bootleg, set 5) — About this game

These bootleg sets of Pomping World / Pang put bouncing-ball action on single screens set around the world. A wire splits a large ball into two smaller ones; clear every ball to advance. Move sideways, climb ladders and fire wires upward into the balls’ paths. Splitting several large balls at once creates many small threats, so deal with them methodically and leave an escape route. All five sets share the Pang input interface, while their initialization differs between set families.
