Controls

Road Fighter combines traffic avoidance with two acceleration gears and a dwindling fuel supply. Low gear gets the car moving before high gear builds greater speed along an open stretch. Collisions and oil can send it into a spin, costing both position and fuel if it reaches a roadside barrier. Special fuel cars replenish the reserve, making a controlled approach to one more useful than another reckless pass.
