Quick start
- Learn ordinary fire and the held Wave Cannon charge.
- Collect a Force and a weapon crystal.
- Attach it where the next threat will arrive.
- Detach it for remote fire when that position helps.
Controls
Fire shoots; hold it to charge the Wave Cannon and release the stronger blast. Force attaches or detaches the auxiliary unit, which can sit at the front or rear of the craft.

R-Type (Japan, bootleg M82 conversion) is an exact registered version in this game family. R-Type makes the R-9’s detachable Force a shield, weapon carrier and remote firing unit. Attach it at the front for an approach, move it behind for rear threats or send it away to fire from another position. The ship’s ordinary gun also builds a stronger Wave Cannon attack while Fire is held. Terrain and enemy patterns reward planning a firing position before the next corridor closes. Learn the Force’s attachment position before accepting another weapon crystal, then charge the cannon when the ordinary shot is not needed to clear an immediate threat. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
