Samurai Shodown II / Shin Samurai Spirits - Haohmaru Jigokuhen (Special 2017, Hack) — About this game

This sequel builds on the original weapon duels with more evasive options and weapon-breaking attacks. New swordsmen, including Genjuro, join the fights. Judge not only the reach of heavy slashes but also when to roll forward or backward or use a low dodge. Use light and medium slashes separately or press them together for a heavy slash, and test close-range situations with kicks. A full Rage gauge enables a weapon-breaking special through the fighter’s own command. Watch the opponent’s attack height and distance before committing to a big move, then practice a counter that will reach after an evasion.
