Quick start
- Choose a warrior and either Slash or Bust.
- Learn the three slash strengths and kick.
- Press A + B to dodge.
- Try the close-range switch-around after learning the opponent’s reach.
Controls
A, B and C provide Light, Medium and Heavy Slash; D is Kick. A + B dodges, or switches around the opponent when close. Blocking can also be performed in the air.

Samurai Shodown III Enhanced (bootleg) is an exact registered version in this game family. Samurai Shodown III divides each warrior into Slash and Bust forms with different move sets. Its four buttons now give three slash strengths and one kick, while pressing the first two together dodges an attack. Near the opponent that same action moves around to the other side, creating another position from which to strike. Air blocking adds a defensive choice during a jump. Learn the selected form’s ordinary reach before trying a close switch-around, then use the changed position when an opponent commits to an attack in the wrong direction. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
