Quick start
- Choose a monster and learn a light strike’s range.
- Time a stronger follow-up after an attack connects.
- Practise a dash to control the next approach.
- Use the fighter’s specific guard-cancel technique when its timing is learned.
Controls
The six attacks are Light, Medium and Heavy Punch and Light, Medium and Heavy Kick. Double-tap forward or backward to dash. Connected grounded attacks can chain from lighter to stronger attacks. A suitable character-specific special can cancel block stun when timed during a guard; simply pressing an arbitrary attack does not trigger it.

Vampire: The Night Warriors (Enable hidden characters ver. 2006-05-31, Hack) is an exact registered version in this game family. Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors brings ten monsters into timed duels before the bosses Huitzil and Pyron. Air blocking, crouching movement and linked attacks change the exchange beyond the familiar six-button fighting format. A Special meter builds toward an EX move or an enhanced ES special, but its stored power does not remain indefinitely. Learn the chosen monster’s attack distance and defence before spending that opportunity, then use the stronger move while the meter is available instead of assuming it can be saved until the last round. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
