How to Play Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire (Japan 970913 Phoenix Edition) (bootleg)
Quick start
- Learn one monster’s ordinary attacks and a safe dash.
- Practise a connected light-to-strong chain.
- Build two Special Stocks before Dark Force.
- Use a matching-strength Punch + Kick to activate its temporary ability.
Controls
The six attacks are Light, Medium and Heavy Punch and Light, Medium and Heavy Kick. Double-tap forward or backward to dash. Repeated attack inputs while blocking produce Advancing Guard, except for Anakaris. With a Special Stock, enter a special move using two buttons of its punch or kick type to perform an ES move; EX techniques have their own commands and stock costs. Dark Force consumes two stocks and uses Punch + Kick of the same strength. Some characters’ aerial chains depend on the active Dark Force state.
