Quick start

  1. Choose a warrior and check the reach of attacks and jumps.
  2. Draw enemies toward one side to avoid being surrounded.
  3. Collect weapons and food, and learn the mounted controls when a warhorse appears.
  4. Test version-specific special commands in the current game before relying on them.

Controls

Move around the battlefield with the joystick. Button 1 attacks and Button 2 jumps while on foot. Press Attack over an item to collect it, or press Attack during a jump for an aerial strike. While mounted, Button 1 attacks, Button 2 performs the alternate mounted attack, and Down plus Button 2 dismounts.

San Jian Sheng (Chinese bootleg of Sangokushi II, set 3) — About this game

San Jian Sheng (Chinese bootleg of Sangokushi II, set 3) is a registered variant in the Warriors of Fate and Tenchi wo Kurau II arcade family. Move across side-scrolling battlefields, use attacks and jumps against groups of enemies, collect weapons and food, and mount a warhorse when one is available. The warriors differ in attack reach and rhythm, so begin by learning the selected character's spacing. Drawing enemies toward one side reduces the risk of being surrounded and creates safer opportunities for combinations or throws. The version title does not document every possible change to characters, moves, stages, weapons, values, graphics or difficulty, so special behavior should be learned from the current game rather than copied from another modification.
