How to Play Yellow Cab (bootleg)
Quick start
- Find a taxi stop with a waiting passenger and bring the car to a complete stop on it.
- Read the two arrows and drive in their directions to reduce the distance counters.
- When both counters reach zero, stop on the destination taxi stop to deliver the fare.
- Watch GAS and avoid large vehicles, trains and dropped cargo before taking another passenger.
Controls
Hold a direction on the four-way joystick to drive and build speed. Release to neutral or use the brake button to slow down. Stop completely over the marked taxi stop to pick up or deliver a passenger; merely driving across it is not enough.

Yellow Cab (bootleg) follows a taxi through a freely scrolling town in search of fares. Stop over a waiting passenger's taxi stop to pick them up, then follow the two directional distance counters until both reach zero and the destination stop appears. A complete stop is needed again to let the passenger out. Fuel and traffic complicate that straightforward journey: large vehicles, trains and dropped cargo can interrupt the trip. Learn the pickup route before driving fast, and watch the GAS display while choosing the next fare.
