This trainer edition adds cheat support to Earthworm Jim. Earthworm Jim for Game Gear puts an ordinary worm inside an extraordinary suit. His two main attacks share a button, so movement changes what happens when you press it. While standing still, a short press fires the blaster and a longer one performs a head whip; moving uses the whip instead. Jumping has its own button, and repeated presses in the air turn Jim’s head into a rotor that slows his descent. That makes a safe landing something to prepare rather than leave to chance. Plasma supplies and suit energy pickups reward checking the route. Use controlled bursts instead of emptying the gun whenever a target appears. Practise the difference between firing while still and whipping while moving before attempting either beside a gap.
