How to Play OutRun Europa
Quick start
Press START to begin. Steer with Left/Right, use Up to accelerate and Down to slow. On the first motorcycle stage,2 attacks nearby enemies and 1 uses turbo. Follow checkpoint arrows and collect shield icons before damage becomes critical.
Controls
Left/Right: steer. Up/Down: accelerate/slow. 2: attack—motorcycle punches/kicks, cars shoot, watercraft mortar; hold 2 longer for mortar range. 1: turbo on road vehicles. START: pause/resume. Water stages have no turbo action.
OutRun Europa — About this game
OutRun Europa for Game Gear turns the road trip into a pursuit of thieves who stole a Ferrari and important documents. Five stages change vehicles from motorcycle to jetski, Porsche, speedboat and finally Ferrari, each with its own handling. Reach checkpoints before time expires and collect shield, ammunition and turbo supplies when the route allows. Roadside arrows point toward the direct destination at forks. Enemy vehicles and police can obstruct you, but civilian traffic is something to avoid rather than attack. Turbo gives a brief speed burst on road vehicles; water sections use mortar attacks with range controlled by how long 2 is held. Keep the shield healthy and save acceleration aids for clear routes instead of crashing straight into traffic.
