How to Play Paperboy
Quick start
Press START, set music and choose a street. Study the route map to identify subscribers. Hold up to gain speed, steer toward a clear line and throw with 1 or 2 as a mailbox approaches.
Controls
Up: accelerate; release to slow gradually. Down: brake. Left/right: gentle steering; diagonals: faster sideways movement. 1 or 2: throw a paper. START: start, pause or resume. Ride over bundles to restock.
Paperboy — About this game
This trainer edition adds cheat support to Paperboy. Paperboy turns a newspaper delivery round into a cycling obstacle course. Choose Easy Street, Middle Road or Hard Way, then deliver to the brightly colored subscriber houses while steering past traffic, dogs and other hazards. A paper in a mailbox or on a porch counts as service; missed or damaged subscriber houses cancel the next day. Lose every customer and the job ends. Successful deliveries can bring back a lost subscriber, while damaging non-subscribers’ property earns breakage points. Carry up to ten papers and collect bundles before running dry. Each day finishes with a timed training course where targets, ramps and careful steering add points without costing lives for a crash.
