How to Play Tom and Jerry - The Movie
Quick start
Press START, choose Game Start and confirm with 2. Move Left/Right, jump with direction+1 and pounce with 2 when Jerry is within reach. Avoid wasting pounces: a miss costs half a heart.
Controls
Pad: move; Up look up, Down crouch/look below a ledge. 1+direction: jump; 1 also climbs. 2: pounce/climb, direction sets pounce direction. Menus: Up/Down choose, 2 confirm. START: start/pause/resume.
Tom and Jerry - The Movie — About this game
This trainer edition adds cheat support to Tom and Jerry - The Movie. Tom and Jerry: The Movie for Game Gear turns the treasure-map chase into a series of platform stages. You control Tom, using jumps, climbing and a carefully timed pounce to catch Jerry before he gets away. Catching him clears a stage early, but missing a pounce costs half a heart, so repeated lunges can leave Tom unable to attack. Read the traps ahead instead of staring only at the mouse. Look down from ledges before choosing a landing and save vitality for a good opening. Bonus games offer a chance to recover strength between stretches of the chase, while the route eventually takes Tom from the house toward the ship, island and castle.
