How to Play Pokemon Hyper Emerald V4 – Ash Version
Quick start
Select NEW GAME and set the name of the character and rival, leave your home in Zhenxin Town and go north. Dr. Oak will take you back to the laboratory; after selecting the starting Pokémon and completing the Rival Battle, follow Route 1 to Evergreen City. Pick up Dr. Oak's package at the friendly store and send it back to the research institute. Get the Pokédex and Poké Ball and start the journey.
Controls
Use the arrow keys to move and select; A to confirm, talk, investigate ahead and advance text; B to cancel, hold B to move after getting the running shoes to run; START to open the field menu; SELECT to use registered props and adjust the order of props or moves; L to open help, and R to also open help and switch chat characters. During battle, use the direction keys to select commands, A to confirm, and B to return.
