How to Play 007: Blood Stone
Quick start
Start the campaign in the default right-handed layout. During the Athens parachute descent, drag the stylus to aim and press L to fire as the tutorial directs. After landing on the yacht, follow the movement lessons and the melee button prompt. Use the interact icon when instructed to overturn the table, then fire from cover before continuing through the ship.
Controls
Default right-handed DS controls: D-pad up/down moves forward/back; drag the touch screen to turn and aim. Double-tap and hold up to sprint. L fires; tap the weapon icon to reload. Tap the interact icon for available actions and cover. Complete melee moves with the displayed button prompt. Left-handed mode exchanges movement and firing inputs; choose it in Options before learning the layout.
007: Blood Stone — About this game
Bond's mission begins with a terrorist threat in Athens and develops into an international investigation. The DS version rebuilds the action around stylus aiming and its own mission layouts. Firefights alternate with close combat, environmental opportunities and short action sequences, asking you to read each space rather than simply keep shooting. Nearby objects can provide cover, and well-placed shots can remove threats quickly. Melee encounters use button prompts, so moving close to a guard does not finish the fight by itself. The opening already shows this handheld approach: you begin aiming while parachuting toward a yacht before fighting across its decks.
