How to Play 007: Nightfire

Quick start

Select Nightfire on the main menu to start the story, then open Mission 1: Austrian Castle. Once play begins, START displays the current objectives: break through the walls, reach the party, observe the secret meeting without raising the alarm, and finally rescue Zoe and recover the weapons chip. Use the first archways and the lorry as cover, edging sideways to take a shot before moving on. Controller Setting A is a sensible first choice because L and R strafe directly, making it easier to fight from cover.

Controls

In either control style, the D-pad moves and turns Bond, B+Down ducks, B+Up jumps, A performs the current action, and START opens the menu and objective list. With Setting A, L or R strafes, L+R with the D-pad aims or uses a scope, holding B with L/R changes weapons, and SELECT reloads. With Setting B, B+D-pad strafes, R+D-pad aims, B+L/R changes weapons, and L reloads. In underwater and space sections, use the D-pad to aim and R to thrust.
