How to Play 19: Neunzehn

Quick start

When starting a new game, select START and choose the army you will be in charge of from forest, mountain, sand, or water. On the map, move the cursor to your unit, press A to select it, and use the cross button to advance to the next square. Once you have given instructions for the units you want to move, press START to end your turn. In battle, schedule each soldier's actions and then check the results. At first, you will combine movement and standby to get used to the mechanism of moving forward and changing direction using action power. SELECT on the strategy map opens a save confirmation.

Controls

Cross button: Select or specify where to move the map. The movement instructions for battle are upwards to move forward, downwards to move backwards, and left and right to turn. A: Determination of units and instructions. While instructing to move, you can enter a standby time equivalent to one energy. B: Cancelled. START: Start the game/end your turn on the strategy map. SELECT: Display save confirmation on the strategy map, press A to save, press B to cancel. Swords and magic are based on a method where you select and reserve action instructions, and you do not attack directly by hitting a button repeatedly.

19: Neunzehn — About this game

A strategy simulation in which you choose one of four armies and aim to capture the enemy's castle and conquer the island. On the map, you move a unit of up to three soldiers and consider the path of your opponent while expanding your territory. When you come into contact with an enemy unit, a battle begins, instructing each soldier to move, attack with a sword, use magic, and rest, before the enemy and allies act together. If you just follow the enemy in front of you, your attacks will be in vain, so it is important to predict where and in what direction your opponent will move next. Each army has different mobility and attack strengths, and the terrain and narrow visibility at night also affect decisions. I want to increase my territory and secure reinforcements while building a battle that doesn't exhaust my soldiers.
