How to Play 50 Classic Games
Quick start
Choose a game from the main menu and open its rule or help screen. Start a solo round, inspect the initial layout and make one legal move at a time. Check the result before switching games; each selection has its own winning condition.
Controls
Use the touch-screen menu to select a game and its options. Touch a card, piece or board position to select it, then choose its legal destination or action as prompted. Use the displayed confirm, draw, discard or pass controls when that game's rule requires them.

The DS collection offers board strategy, card play and small logic problems. Chess asks you to protect your king while developing pieces; checkers rewards careful jumps, while a sliding puzzle needs a plan for the empty square. Start with one familiar game and read its rules before making a move. Cards and matching tasks use different goals from board games, so check the current win condition rather than repeating the same gesture everywhere. Play a short solo round, examine an unsuccessful move and then choose another activity from the menu.
