Play A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia (Japan edition · Japanese) Online

Walk right from the starting street and enter the subway. One screen past the first unreachable treasure, face Blobert, select Punch with Select, and press A to turn him into a hole. Return left and use Licorice to make a ladder for that first treasure, then continue to the red-brick area marked “Sue Baby” and punch through the floor into the caverns. Press B whenever Blobert is stuck or you need to cancel a transformation. Gather enough treasure to buy vitamins before using the Root Beer jellybean; its rocket form carries both characters to Blobolonia and begins the second half.

D-Pad Left/Right: move the boy. Select: cycle jellybean flavors; hold Down and press Select to cycle in reverse. A: throw the selected jellybean while facing Blobert. B: whistle to call Blobert or return him from a transformation. Start: pause/resume. On the tangerine trampoline, hold Up for higher bounces and Down for lower ones. On Blobolonia, Select chooses vitamin A, B or C for the VitaBlaster and B fires; hold Up to aim straight upward.
