How to Play Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Quick start
Choose Campaign → New Game, then touch MISSION-01 on the region map and follow Rachel’s guidance. Select a unit, choose a reachable square, then issue its action. Check enemy ranges before committing, and move infantry onto properties to capture them when that command is available. Once your units have orders, choose End in the map menu. Save from that menu during a mission or after completing it.
Controls
D-pad moves the cursor; A selects and confirms. B cancels a selection and checks attack range for a selected unit. L cycles units and R shows information. SELECT opens the map menu; START shows the overview or skips dialogue. Alternatively, touch a unit, its destination and its command. Use Fire to attack a valid target and End to finish the turn. In tag battles, Change switches COs and ends the turn; a charged Tag Power changes how the paired turn works.
Advance Wars: Dual Strike — About this game
Allied armies confront Black Hole in a campaign built around unit matchups, property capture and careful use of terrain. Infantry secure cities for income while factories turn that income into reinforcements, making positioning and supply as important as damage. Tag battles pair two commanding officers, with charged powers creating opportunities for a concentrated offensive. Some missions add a secondary front on the upper screen, so success depends on the wider battlefield as well as individual attacks. Campaign, War Room and other challenges offer different ways to practise these decisions.
