How to Play Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders
Quick start
Begin at Poirot’s flat and tap the magnifying-glass icon to inspect the room. Read the first A.B.C. letter and solve the number-pattern question about the first murder date. Continue the travel puzzle toward Andover, then examine new scenes and ask witnesses every relevant question. Read the puzzle instructions before entering a response; the scene inspection can also reveal optional notes and clues.
Controls
Use the Touch Screen to select dialogue, examine locations and choose commands. The magnifying-glass icon enters scene inspection; tap points of interest to investigate. Puzzle responses use the selection or writing interface specified by the question. Follow each puzzle’s on-screen input instructions.

The original DS adaptation follows Hastings and Poirot through a series of killings announced by letters from A.B.C. You inspect locations, interview witnesses and use the information to advance the inquiry. Number patterns, travel problems and other logic puzzles are woven into the investigation, making close reading as useful as finding objects. Optional notes and lost clues reward careful inspection of each scene. The railway guide and alphabetic pattern connect the crimes, while your conclusions must account for what the suspects have said.
