How to Play Aibou DS
Quick start
Choose Drama mode and begin its first case. Read the opening exchange, examine the available scene and speak to the people introduced. Revisit the question topics after new information appears. Use Ukyo Vision or the special question control when the story offers them, then save before moving to another session.
Controls
Select investigation targets and dialogue options through the on-screen interface. Advance the conversation, choose a topic and read the response before selecting another. The special investigation controls appear in their story context. Use the game menu for saving and returning to the case; Novel and extras are separate modes.
Aibou DS — About this game
Aibou DS brings the television detectives to DS with photographed characters and backgrounds, including animated live-action performances. Drama mode contains three cases written for the game and reunites Sugishita with Kameyama. Conversations and investigation lead you through the cases, with Ukyo Vision and the Hitotsu Dake button providing recognisable touches from the series. Novel mode retells selected television episodes, while the extras include character mini-games and a glossary. Start with Drama mode if you want an investigation to play through, and distinguish what someone claims from the details you have actually observed before choosing the next topic.
