How to Play Air Traffic Chaos
Quick start
Complete the landing and takeoff training, then begin the easiest Fukuoka shift. Its single runway is a manageable place to learn the sequence. Select an arrival and choose a suitable landing plan; clear the runway before allowing a departure onto it. For departures, confirm the plan and runway, then handle pushback, taxi and takeoff in order. Keep checking aircraft waiting at gates and in the air.
Controls
Tap an aircraft to select it, then tap an available command or choice. Arrivals offer approach-speed and runway decisions; departures use flight-plan, pushback, taxi and takeoff clearances. Inspect routes and runway occupancy before confirming. The DS also supports D-pad/button selection, but the touch commands provide the complete control flow for issuing clearances.

Air Traffic Chaos turns airport control into a real-time scheduling puzzle across five Japanese airports. You issue clearances rather than fly the aircraft yourself: arrivals need approach and landing plans, while departures must leave gates, taxi and take off without conflicting with other traffic. Airport layouts, wind and gate arrangements change the problem. Waiting too long raises stress, but rushing a clearance can create a collision or ground blockage. Reading the whole airport and planning several steps ahead is central to a successful shift.
