How to Play Airwolf
Quick start
For the first equipment, choose CANNON and HELLFIRE, which are easy to use, and do not stick to the edges of the screen on the normal side, keeping it close to the center in case of enemies coming from behind or above and below. B fires anti-air and ground weapons at the same time, and A switches turbo. During turbo mode, it consumes fuel, so it is not used regularly, and is only used when passing through barrage or obstacles. In 3D battles, use the D-pad to move the aim and destroy all attack points such as launch ports within the time limit.
Controls
Use the cross keys to move Airwolf up, down, left, and right. The B button fires the selected anti-air and ground weapons at the same time, and the A button turns on/off the fuel-consuming turbo. When selecting equipment before sortieing, use the button to switch between anti-aircraft and ground-based weapons, and press START to confirm. In 3D style large target battles, move the aim with the cross key and aim at each turret with the attack button.
Airwolf — About this game
The Famicom version of ``Airwolf'' by Kyuhyo Boeki is a side-scrolling shooter with different content from the Acclaim version. Before sortieing, select an anti-aircraft weapon or an anti-ground weapon, and proceed while attacking enemy formations and ground objects that appear from the top, bottom, left, and right. After the normal stage, a 3D style battle will also appear where you move the aim and destroy large targets. The story of Hawk saving his brother unfolds in all 6 pages, and since A's turbo consumes fuel, you will need to make the best decision to use it to break through dangerous areas or avoid enemy bullets.
