How to Play Akagawa Jirou no Yuurei Ressha
Quick start
At the title, use the D-pad to select START, then press A to start. First, check all the people and places on the screen using ``See'', ``Investigate'', and ``Listen'', and then talk to the same person again if the situation changes. On the conversation screen, commands will appear when you move Uno or Yuko near the other party using the cross keys. In the telescope, point your finger at the suspicious area and press A. You can fast-forward through previously read texts by holding down A, but be sure not to overlook important testimonies.
Controls
On the normal screen, use the up and down arrow keys to select a command, press A to display the command, confirm, and send a message, and press and hold A to fast forward the text. B is canceled. On the conversation screen, move Uno or Yuko using the four-way controller (up, down, left, and right), and conversation commands will appear when you approach the other party. In the telescope, use the D-pad to move your finger cursor and press A to decide where to look. START and SELECT are not used for normal operation.

``Akagawa Jiro's Ghost Train'' is a mystery adventure for the Famicom in which Detective Uno and his girlfriend Yuko pursue the case where eight passengers suddenly disappeared from a train running through a hot spring town. In addition to selecting commands for each scene, you can move your character close to the other person and talk to them on the conversation screen, and use the finger cursor to specify suspicious places in the telescope. The game is structured so that you investigate, interview, and move around to uncover contradictions in testimonies and the secrets of the land, and you can continue playing from the save with battery backup.
