How to Play Aliens in the Attic
Quick start
Start the story and use Tom or Jake's gun to clear the first accessible enemies while gathering the bolts they leave. Hold Y for continuous fire and aim with the D-pad. Use L/R to select an available child for the next obstacle: Jake for a heavy block, Hannah for a high or narrow route and Tom for alien mechanisms. Rescue adults you find and retain the upgrade parts they provide.
Controls
DS core controls: D-pad moves and aims; hold Y to fire with Tom or Jake. L/R changes between available children. Touch the lower-screen icons to select guns or gadgets, or use touch free aiming during combat. Rotate the on-screen dial in lock puzzles to match its color pattern. Hannah handles double jumps and narrow passages; Jake moves heavy objects; Tom uses alien gadgets as they become available.
Aliens in the Attic — About this game
The DS game puts the Pearson children in charge of defending the holiday house. Tom handles alien technology and weapon improvements, Jake uses heavier firepower and pushes large objects, while Hannah reaches high ledges and narrow passages with her double jump and small size. Their roles turn the house into a sequence of shooting and platform challenges that require frequent character changes. Defeated machines leave bolts for upgrades, and rescuing adults brings useful weapon parts. The team shares health, so switching is a way to use the right skill rather than escape damage. Touch-screen aiming and short lock puzzles support the main button-driven action. This handheld version follows the children, unlike the alien-led home-console game.
