How to Play Aliens: Infestation
Quick start
Begin the campaign and follow the briefing from the Sephora to the Sulaco. Explore the initial corridors while reading the lower-screen map and objective information. Practise B jumps, X fire and A rolls before rushing into the next room. Search accessible side rooms for supplies, use the first safe save point you reach and manage the squad there. Return to locked routes when you find their required equipment.
Controls
DS controls: D-pad moves/crouches; B jumps; X fires the selected weapon; Y uses the secondary weapon such as grenades; A rolls. Hold L for stationary free aiming and use R to run. Touch the equipment icons to choose weapons, secondary weapons and tools. Use safe points for saving and squad management; protecting surviving marines matters because fallen squad members are not ordinary endlessly respawning lives.

A marine squad boards the Sulaco to investigate signs of life and finds a vessel full of hostile machinery, soldiers and Xenomorphs. Exploration follows an interconnected layout: new equipment, keys and weapons let you return to previously blocked passages. The four-person squad supplies successive playable marines rather than four simultaneous fighters. Losing one changes the available team, while stranded marines can replenish your roster. That makes health, ammunition and careful use of cover important even between major encounters. Touch-screen equipment selection supports the button-driven shooting and movement. The DS adventure builds tension through confined corridors, unexpected attacks and the need to preserve the people who must finish the mission.
