How to Play Alvin and the Chipmunks
Quick start
Begin the concert tour and learn the five target positions during the first performance. Tap a note only when it reaches the lower target area. When a special task interrupts the song, switch to the gesture shown before returning to the notes.
Controls
Tap descending symbols in their five lanes at the lower target area. For special tasks, use the microphone when asked to call Alvin, drag the colored point along its line, or scratch the touch screen rapidly as instructed.

Alvin, Simon and Theodore turn their American concert tour into a series of rhythm performances. Watch symbols descend toward five target positions and tap them at the right moment to build combos. Songs also break into short tasks involving the DS microphone, tracing a musical line or scratching the touch screen like a DJ. These interruptions change the required gesture, so keep watching the prompts as well as the falling notes.
