How to Play America Daitouryou Senkyo
Quick start
Choose a political party, candidate, and staff in the new game. In the first state, select ``Research'' to check the public opinion polls and characteristics of the state, and then decide on three policies that are suitable for that state. After moving the policy scale, we check the approval ratings again and adjust the number of speeches based on around 25 speeches. In states with TV advertising, we set a budget for the three TV stations, and after confirming support ratings and fatigued faces, we proceed with the campaign day.
Controls
Use the up and down arrow keys to select menu items, and use the left and right buttons to adjust values such as policy scale, number of speeches, and advertising costs. Select an item with the A button, and during the election campaign, select "Continue" and press A to advance by one day. Select New Game or Continue on the title screen. We do not assign Select functions or special operations that are not confirmed by documentation.
America Daitouryou Senkyo — About this game
``American Presidential Election'' is a simulation for the Famicom in which players choose a Republican or Democratic candidate and aim to become president by accumulating delegate votes from each state. The industry and population composition of each state will be studied, and three policies will be proposed from the fields of the environment, defense, economy, education and morality, Japan, and foreign policy, and the strength of the pros and cons, number of speeches, and TV advertising costs will be adjusted. The plan is to win the primary election while monitoring support ratings, funding, and candidate fatigue, and then move on to the general election after the party convention.
