How to Play American Bass Challenge
Quick start
Press START, select From Start, create a name and angler, then choose Quick Fish. It skips boat positioning and lure selection so you can practice casting and fighting immediately. Set cast power with A, press Down when a fish strikes to hook it, and release the reel if the power meter flashes white to avoid breaking the line.
Controls
Menus: D-Pad, A confirm, B cancel. Boat: A forward, B reverse, D-Pad or L/R steer, SELECT commands, START pause. Cast: choose direction with D-Pad and set strength with A; D-Pad or L/R thumbs the spool. Retrieve/fight: A reels, D-Pad works the rod, A+B fast-reels (and can break/cut the line).
