How to Play American Dream
Quick start
First, you walk around the city looking for the passport you need to enter, then exchange your cash for tokens at the casino's bank. Press A in front of the table to confirm the explanation, then press A again to take a seat. Insert up to 3 coins with A and pull the lever under the cross key. If you exceed the target amount, refund and move on to the next region, and be sure to write down your password at milestones. For PACHI SLOT, select the reel with left and right and stop with A.
Controls
In the city, use the cross keys to move Pachio-kun, and press A to check people, equipment, and slots. In the slot, insert one token each time you press A (up to 3 tokens), and start rotating under the D-pad. In PACHI SLOT, select the reel that stops on the left and right and stop with A. If you press B without betting any tokens, you will leave the table. In the menu, use the four-way controller to select and press A to confirm.
American Dream — About this game
"American Dream" is a gambling RPG for the Famicom in which players control Pacchio-kun and travel around Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Manhattan, and New Jersey. Starting with $100, you can increase your funds by playing slots, reach the target amount in each region, advance to the next land, and ultimately aim for $100 million. Random events such as robberies occur in the city, and items such as passports, pistols, and VIP cards are involved in exploration and progression. Progress can be kept with a password.
