How to Play American Football: Touchdown Fever
Quick start
At first, choose LEAGUE MATCH and short quarters, and get used to using SHORT PASS or BACKS when attacking. After selecting a play, use the D-pad to run the ball carrier, and if it's a pass play, look at the A/B display above your head and press the open button on the receiver side. The defense doesn't have a choice of strategy, and before the snap, they decide which player to control with A or B, advance to the running path, and aim for contact.
Controls
Use the cross keys to move the player you are controlling, and select team, mode, match time, and play from the menu. In an offensive pass play, A/B corresponds to the throw to the two receivers respectively displayed. On defense, select a candidate player to operate with A or B before the snap. Select Start to start/pause the match. Please check the display as the role of A/B changes depending on the situation.
American Football: Touchdown Fever — About this game
``American Football Touchdown Fever'' is a sports game that is a remake of SNK's arcade work for the Famicom. Choose from a total of 12 teams from six cities in the east and west, and compete in a single league match or an elimination tournament. When attacking, select a strategy from 5 systems: long pass, short pass, QB sneak, running back, and punt/field goal. When passing, you can choose between two receivers (A or B), and when defending, you can choose the player in charge before the snap.
