How to Play Angelique Duet
Quick start
Start a new game, choose the heroine and read the explanation of the queen’s examination. Meet the Guardians, then make a first request for help. Compare your progress with your rival before planning another visit. Read conversations carefully and use the save menu before making a decision you want to revisit.
Controls
Navigate the displayed menus to choose destinations, requests and replies. Advance dialogue with the on-screen confirmation control and select a response when choices appear. Use the status screens to check your candidacy and relationships. Open the game’s save menu to record progress; dates and requests are selected activities rather than direct-action sequences.
Angelique Duet — About this game
Angelique Duet puts a royal competition and romance on the same calendar. As one of two candidates for the next queen of the universe, you ask the Guardians for help with your examination and work to outpace your rival. Those same Guardians can become close companions through conversation and dates in places such as the park and lake. Time spent developing these relationships changes the meaning of the contest: winning the throne and pursuing love pull your attention in different directions. The DS version keeps the focus on choosing daily activities, reading character reactions and deciding what kind of future matters to your heroine.
