How to Play Animal Boxing
Quick start
Turn the DS upside down as the game directs, then create your human boxer. Choose Championship and learn the opening bout's punch gestures. Practise blocking and dodging before trying long combinations; watch the opponent's recovery for an opening.
Controls
Tap an opponent to jab, swipe horizontally to hook and draw upward from the lower centre to uppercut. In the standard right-handed setup, A dodges left, Y dodges right and X blocks. A left-handed option moves defensive functions to the D-pad. The original game uses the upside-down DS layout.
Animal Boxing — About this game
Animal Boxing turns the Nintendo DS upside down so the fight takes place on the touch screen above the buttons. Your custom human fighter faces a colourful animal roster, using taps for jabs and drawn motions for hooks and uppercuts. Defence uses separate buttons, encouraging a rhythm of waiting, dodging and replying when an opponent opens up. Championship bouts give the action a route toward belts, while single matches let you return to opponents. The unusual screen arrangement makes each punch a direct gesture at the target.
