How to Play AniMates!
Quick start
Choose a species, how many pets to raise and their names. Tap an egg to help it hatch, then check the need charts. Lead the new pet to food or water when needed and try a play spot before taking on more creatures.
Controls
Tap the ground with the stylus to direct a pet, and tap objects such as water or a swing to request the related activity. START opens the general menu. SELECT changes the upper-screen charts for needs, skills and awards; the main care commands use touch input.
AniMates! — About this game
AniMates! begins with an egg and asks you to care for the creature that hatches. Choose a species, give each pet a name and raise as many as five together. The landscape contains places for drinking, eating, washing and playing, so much of the routine involves watching the need charts and leading the pets to the right spot. Minigames add activities as the creatures grow. The focus is on steady care and observation, with simple touch commands connecting each need to an action in the world.
