How to Play Aoki Ookami to Shiroki Mejika: Genghis Khan
Quick start
For the first time, choose Temujin in the Mongolian version and check your country's gold, food, and soldiers. Instead of launching an all-out attack from the beginning, cultivate industry, secure income, and give the necessary orders to the general. Research information on neighboring countries, determine not only the number of soldiers but also their training level and food before dispatching troops. In HEX battles, instead of crowding the entire army together, the main force advances based on the terrain and range. When entering numbers, it is easy to make mistakes in the digits, so double check before making a decision.
Controls
Use the cross button to move the cursor, enter numerical values, and specify placement, movement, and attack direction on HEX. A is for determining commands or numerical values, B is for canceling, and in yes/no situations, B has the same function as "no". The numerical value changes from 0 to 9 by moving up and down, moving to the next digit by moving to the right, and moving to the previous digit by moving to the left. Start the game with START. In multiplayer play in the world edition, follow the controller number displayed on the screen.
Aoki Ookami to Shiroki Mejika: Genghis Khan — About this game
"The Blue Wolf and the White Deer, Genghis Khan" is a historical simulation that consists of a Mongolian story in which the player plays the role of 20-year-old Temujin, who aims to unify Mongolia, and a world story in which multiple monarchs fight over all of Eurasia. In each country, you manage industry, food, conscription, training, human resources, and diplomacy, and pass orders to generals to govern them. The war moves to the HEX screen, where you specify troop placement, movement, attack, and long-range attack one move at a time. Merely stealing the country is not enough to stabilize it; it is necessary to maintain the loyalty of the generals, residents, finances, royal family, and successors over the long term. In the world edition, up to four people will be in charge of the monarch, and the order of diplomacy and invasion will be a big deal.
