1943 Kai: Midway Kaisen (Japan) — About this game
1943 Kai compresses the aerial campaign to ten stages and replaces the earlier fighter with a Boeing-Stearman biplane. Its revised arsenal strengthens the shotgun and offers powerful laser fire alongside the ordinary weapon pickups. Fire and Special remain separate actions, with their simultaneous press performing the evasive loop. Learn the revised weapon’s coverage before chasing another pickup, then distinguish a loop from a special attack rather than assuming the later compilation’s separate loop button is part of the original controls.
