How to Play 19XX: The War Against Destiny (Brazil 951218)
Quick start
- Choose an aircraft for its speed and attack balance.
- Hold Fire to prepare the blaster.
- Hit a large target to establish the lock.
- Use homing fire or a charged bomb while avoiding hits.
Controls
Use Fire for ordinary shots and hold it to charge the blaster that locks onto a large enemy. Bomb releases a stocked screen-clearing attack; hold Bomb to charge a stronger effect. Being shot down during the charge prevents the bomb from firing.
19XX: The War Against Destiny (Brazil 951218) — About this game
19XX gives each of its three aircraft a different balance of speed, power and homing strength. A charged blaster marks a large enemy for following homing fire, separating target selection from ordinary shooting. Bombs can also be held for stronger effects, but a death during charging prevents their release. Stage results reward destruction rate, boss speed, retained bombs and medals rather than merely reaching the exit.
