How to Play 3 Count Bout / Fire Suplex (NGM-043)
Quick start
- Use punches and kicks to create an opening.
- Move close to enter a grapple and press A repeatedly to win it.
- Follow with an available grapple move.
- Press D beside a downed opponent to attempt the pin.
Controls
A: punch. B: kick. C: jump, or a falling attack against a downed opponent. D: taunt or pin a downed opponent. Forward twice/back twice: run. Grapple begins close to the opponent; repeated A helps win it. For Terry Rogers after a grapple win, A performs Body Slam and Down+A performs Palms to Kick.
3 Count Bout / Fire Suplex (NGM-043) — About this game
3 Count Bout combines ordinary wrestling strikes with grapples, runs and attacks from the turnbuckle. Moving close starts a grapple, where winning the exchange opens the way to a throw or another character-specific move. A downed rival provides an opportunity for a falling attack or pin. The same wrestler can therefore need a different response according to distance, position and whether the opponent is standing. Practising an ordinary grapple and a pin first makes the wider move list easier to use during a match.
