How to Play '99: The Last War (set 1)
Quick start

'99: The Last War (set 1) — About this game
'99: The Last War (set 1) puts a spaceship against formations of robotic enemies with a limited shield as its emergency defence. The shield can resist attacks, but energy drains both while it is switched on and when it absorbs a hit. Friendly craft bring pickups that restore the meter or supply faster shots, so replenishment needs to be balanced against the risk of reaching it. Clear the enemy waves and learn the larger spaceship encounters without treating the temporary shield as permission to remain inside every attack.
