How to Play Acrobat Mission
Quick start
- Begin with the ordinary shot and avoid incoming fire.
- Collect a Wave or Hurricane weapon before trying a charged attack.
- Move carefully to bring the exhaust near an enemy.
- Detonate the wing-mounted bombs when their blast is useful.
Controls
Directional control: move the fighter. A: fire; with Wave or Hurricane equipped, hold to charge and release the weapon. B: detonate a carried bomb. The starting weapon cannot charge.
Acrobat Mission — About this game
Acrobat Mission gives its fighter more ways to damage an enemy than simply firing ahead. Moving creates an exhaust flame on the opposite side, which can burn a nearby target. Collecting a Wave or Hurricane weapon also enables a charged attack; the starting gun does not have that ability. Up to two bombs sit visibly on the wings and can detonate if enemy fire hits them. Contact with an enemy craft knocks the fighter away rather than automatically destroying it, making close positioning a distinctive part of survival.
