How to Play Alien3: The Gun (US, Rev A)
Quick start
- Aim the Pulse Rifle at an approaching alien.
- Fire in bursts while watching its charge.
- Shoot scenery that may hide supplies.
- Use a bomb when several attackers close in.
Controls
Aim the positional gun and pull its trigger to shoot. Sustained fire exhausts the weapon charge and requires time to recover. Use the separate Bomb control for a limited screen-clearing attack. The route advances automatically; look for supplies in destructible scenery.

Alien3: The Gun (US, Rev A) places a positional Pulse Rifle in a rail-shooting escape from an alien-infested facility. Continuous fire drains its charge and forces a recovery interval, while a separate limited bomb attack clears approaching aliens. Shooting scenery can uncover supplies and a temporary flamethrower. Prisoners encountered along the route add a reason to distinguish survivors from targets during the automated advance.
