How to Play Art of Fighting / Ryuuko no Ken (NGM-044 ~ NGH-044)

Quick start

Learn the chosen fighter’s punch and kick range.
Watch the Spirit Gauge before a special attack.
Hold Punch or Kick to charge spirit when there is a safe opening.
Use the restored resource for the next useful technique.

Controls

A is Punch, B is Kick, C supplies throws or stronger attacks, and D is Taunt. C gives a stronger punch after A or a stronger kick after B. Hold Punch or Kick to charge the Spirit Gauge.

Art of Fighting / Ryuuko no Ken (NGM-044 ~ NGH-044) — About this game

Art of Fighting follows Ryo and Robert through South Town in a rescue of Yuri. The camera moves closer or farther as the fighters change distance, making reach especially visible during the duel. Special attacks consume the Spirit Gauge, while charging provides a way to restore it before another technique. A taunt adds a separate action beside punches, kicks and stronger attacks. Learn a reliable ordinary strike before spending spirit on a special, then use a safe opening to recharge instead of attempting the same depleted attack repeatedly.
