How to Play Ark Area
Quick start
- Move clear of the nearest incoming enemies.
- Line up an attack in their direction.
- Collect useful power-ups.
- Keep watching the other approaches during each wave and boss encounter.
Controls
Use the directional controls to move and face threats around the playfield. Use the two action inputs for the available attacks or current power-up action; their physical assignment is not inferred from the generic Button 1 and Button 2 labels.
Ark Area — About this game
Ark Area puts a futuristic fighter into attacks arriving from different directions. The craft can shoot around itself rather than only toward one edge of a scrolling corridor, and power-ups strengthen its response to the next wave. Boss encounters interrupt the ordinary formations, while some stages use an afterimage presentation. Watching the space around the fighter is therefore as useful as following the nearest target, especially when moving to collect equipment during an attack.
