Quick start

Left/Right: move the paddle. Fire: use the action for the current ball or weapon state. Keep the paddle beneath returning balls to send them toward the bricks.

Arkanoid Returns (Ver 2.02J 1997/02/10) gives one or two players a paddle beneath a new set of brick formations. Rebounding the ball clears the blocks above, while catching falling power-ups changes the possibilities for the next return. The Giga Ball joins the available equipment, adding another way to break through the arrangement. Cooperative play places both paddles in the same field, so covering the next bounce can matter more than chasing every pickup. The original arcade campaign begins with fifty stages, separate from the editor and extra campaign added to the later home release.
