Quick start
- Rotate the ship toward an open route.
- Apply thrust and fire at asteroids and saucers.
- Keep clear of fragments and pursuing satellite pieces.
- Hold Shield briefly when a collision threatens.
Controls
Rotate Left/Right: turn. Thrust: accelerate forward. Fire: shoot; holding repeats fire. Shield: hold for protection while its limited reserve lasts. Objects wrap across the screen edges.
Asteroids Deluxe (rev 3) — About this game
Asteroids Deluxe (rev 3) keeps the drifting spacecraft and wrapping playfield of Asteroids but changes how danger is managed. A limited shield replaces the hyperspace escape, and holding the fire control sends repeated shots ahead of the ship. Larger rocks split into smaller hazards, while killer satellites break apart into pursuing pieces when hit. Saucers can aim across the screen boundary, so staying at one edge no longer removes their threat. Rotation and thrust remain essential to creating a safe firing angle.
