How to Play Astro Flash (Japan)
Quick start
- Fire at the first enemy formation.
- Transform into the robot to compare its spread beam.
- Use the robot’s slower scrolling pace to assess threats.
- Keep destroying enemies to build weapon strength.
Controls
Move, fire and use Transform to change freely between ship and robot. The ship fires forward; the robot uses a spread beam and slows the scrolling. Destroy enemies to strengthen the weapon; a lost life resets that strength.
Astro Flash (Japan) — About this game
Astro Flash (Japan) allows a change between spacecraft and robot whenever the situation requires it. The ship fires straight ahead, while the robot spreads its beam and slows the scrolling approach. Destroying enemies builds weapon strength instead of supplying collectible weapon upgrades. Each of the four stages enters an underground base before its boss, and losing the craft resets its accumulated power.
